Marks The marks on the pewter are for Van Hauten and are the same marks that are used for Loetz pewter mounted vases. The ceramic is a recognised Villeroy & Boch decoration but is unmarked which leads us to believe that this piece was made for a retailer who preferred not to acknowledge the actual makers.
